Welcome

Vanguard Recreation Services (VRS) program offers several social and recreational opportunities for neurodiverse children and adults. Vanguard School affiliation is not required to register.  

VRS offers multiple weekend retreats throughout the year, along with our beloved summer camp (Camp Vanguard) for students, ages 7-21, and a one-week beach getaway (Fenwick Island, DE) for adults. All trips and experiences have specified age groups and are held at multiple locations. We typically enjoy retreat weekends year-round at places such as Mt. Gilead, Camp Kweebec, Lake Harmony and Fenwick Island. 

VRS is proudly staffed by dedicated, passionate professionals who make our participants their top priority. Our goal is to provide quality, comprehensive services to all participants and be a strong advocate for their needs as we work to help our participants learn and grow into a fulfilling, more independent life.
