As our staff prepared classrooms and put the finishing touches on plans for the new school year, they were treated to a generous lunch provided by Jim and Patti Gillece.

The Gillece family has deep roots in the Vanguard community — Jim and Patti are the proud parents of alumnus Trey Gillece, and their connection to our school has remained strong long after graduation. Their thoughtful gesture came at just the right moment, offering staff a welcome boost of energy and encouragement as teams worked to get everything ready for the first day of school.
